Due to Angela Hucles retirement from professional and International soccer, Chicago Red Stars forward Ella Maser has been called up to the US Women's National squad for the game against Germany on October 26th.Maser has already played with the u23's and U21 team. Last year in the U23's 2008 Nordic Cup championship match, a 3-0 win over Germany, Maser scored twice.
Brazilian international Fabiana returns to Boston for the 2010 season. The midfielder who was a free agent has agreed new terms with the Breakers. Fabiana who started only getting onto the field with the Breakers towards the end of the WPS season due to her recovering from an ACL injury, will come into the 2010 season fit. Only half fit in the inaugural season she still gave glimpses of her skills to the Breakers fans.
